Uhuru
is the summit of Mt Kilimanjaro and it is located at a height of 5,895 meters
above the sea level. This mountain has come into existence due to the volcanic
eruption. The major eruption occurs on this mountain 360,000 years back and the
most recent one occurred 200,000 years back. There are three different volcanic
cones located on this mountain and they are named as the Kibo, Shira as well as
Mawenzi. The Mawenzi and Shira cones are the extinct ones but the Kibo is still
considered as a dormant one and has a chance to erupt again. This is a majestic
mountain that you should hike when you are in Tanzania. There used to be
glaciers on the mountain but they have disappeared due to the increase in
temperature of this earth. When you are hiking the Kilimanjaro, you will have genuine chance to admire the Mother
Nature.
